I’m not sure how many of you have seen this show before, but it’s just hysterical. The show Flight of the Conchords  follows the lives of two New Zealanders, living in New York, who are trying to break into the American music industry with their comedy singles.

The first video takes place in the middle of an attempted mugging.  The guys are asked for their valuables which includes a camera phone; a camera with a phone attached to it and their bikes. (Throughout the show they break out into song in response to a particular situation.)

Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenocerous

The second video is my favorite, please excuse the Spanish subtitles, this was the only version I could find from the show.

News just in today that “Temperley London, the chic British fashion label headed by Alice Temperley, has been chosen as the ‘Mercedes-Benz Presents’ designer for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week’s Fall 2008 shows in New York City’s Bryant Park.”[PR Newswire]

The company was founded back in 2000 by Temperley and her husband Lars von Bennigsen, first launched during London Fashion Week in September 2000. According to Vogue Magazine “…Alice Temperley is the designer making the biggest waves in British fashion, in a very short time, Temperley has been able to build a business that rivals not only those of her more starry contemporaries but those of older more established houses as well.”

Temperley London also boasts a client list many designers would covet: Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwyneth Paltrow, Charlize Theron, Keira Knightley and the list goes on.

“Known for attention to detail and high quality, collections always stay true to the Temperley London philosophy of making timeless pieces for the wearer to look and feel beautiful rather than following trends purely for the sake of fashion. The company operates three stand alone stores in London, New York and Los Angeles, and Temperley London products are sold in more than 290 of the best boutiques and department stores across 35 countries as well as online.” [PR Newswire]
