Fall 2008 is just around the corner and fashionistas are anticipating Jonathan Saunders’ collection During NYC Fall Fashion Week on February 3.
In a report from Style.com, Bergdorf Goodman’s Roopal Patel has this to say about the Scotsman and Central Saint Martins grad, “Jonathan has an eye not only for prints and patterns but colors and techniques, and his clothes work well in urban environments”.
What can we expect from the show? Style.com predicts, “modern, minimal silhouettes, inspired this season by Irving Penn’s sand collages, the work of Constantin Brancusi, and classic science fiction.”
This dress is just breathtaking in my opinion. The first thought that came to mind was, “Wow what a POP of color.” It looks like the optimistic splashes of color from Spring 2008 have carried over to Fall. It’s much better than the gloomy grey and black that dominated Fall 2007’s runways. What do you think?
